WABI SABI
Combining two concepts of traditional Japanese aesthetics, wabi-sabi centers on the acceptance of the beauty found in imperfection. Wabi – as subdued, austere beauty + Sabi – rustic patina. Each tile created by brushing the glaze across the tile surface reveals the unique pressure of the brush and the flow of glaze. Each piece a unique expression of color.
