FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you stock any tile?

Most all our tile collections are made to order and have a lead time. Some could be quick ship so please don’t hesitate to ask.

What is Made-to-Order?

Made-to-order means just that — you order, we make. Choose a color, choose a size, a shape, a pre-designed pattern and we’ll put your order into production.

If I don’t see what I am looking for does that mean you don’t offer it?

In most cases no! There are so many patterns and colorways of tile that we are not able to have them all displayed on the website. Also, our artisans are always happy to consider a totally custom tile for you.

Can I see a sample first?

Yes, samples are recommended as computer monitors differ in color. Samples are usually a 1-2 week lead time. Cost varies depending on the sample and number of samples required.

How do I determine the amount of tiles I need?

We always recommend a tile professional or designer calculate tile quantities. They are aware of jobsite requirements and any special circumstances that may exist.

Why is it suggested that I purchase 10% more than required for my installation?

This is a general rule of thumb when ordering tile. Usually when a tile is cut, the
remaining piece can’t be used anywhere else, resulting in fewer tiles than expected. Job Completions (placing a small order to make up for the tile shortage) are costly and time consuming, and can often be avoided by ordering the recommended 10% overage.

What about shipping costs?

Shipping costs are based on weight of your order and destination. Once a quantity is determined a freight estimate can be given.

Do you offer a Trade discount?

Yes, we love working with Designers and Architects.
